Use of this website

These terms and conditions of use tell you the terms of use on which you may make use of this website (our site), whether as a guest or a registered user, and shall at all times be governed by Scots Law. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you start to use our site, or book attendance at an event, as these will apply to your use of our site and such attendance. We recommend that you print a copy of this for future reference.

By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree to these terms of use, you must not use our site.

We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.

We may update our site from time to time, and may change the content at any time. However, please note that any of the content on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.

This site is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You may not replicate any part of this site without our permission.

Prior to payment only the date and time of an event shall be made public. Following payment to attend an event full details of the location, and any other required details, shall be sent directly to you. Such details shall be treated as confidential by you, and release by you of these details shall be considered a breach of these terms and conditions. In such case the Edinburgh Salon may, in its sole discretion, refuse you entry to the event, and your payment shall be forfeit.

During an event you will be expected to act in accordance with the instructions of the host for the evening. In particular the Edinburgh Salon does not condone drunken behaviour or damage to any property at the event location. In such case the host for the evening may ask you to leave. In case of any damage to the property you shall, at all times, fully indemnify the Edinburgh Salon.

Payment for events must be made according to our instructions in order to reserve your place.

Cancellations by you

Once booked onto an event we do not give refunds for cancellations by you or make transfers to other future events.

Cancellations by the Edinburgh Salon

The Edinburgh Salon has the right to reschedule events. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event the Edinburgh Salon shall refund your payment.

Data Protection

We shall process any personal data only to the extent, and in such a manner, as is necessary for the purpose of attendance at any event, and shall at all times comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Scots law.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our site or any content on it, whether express or implied.

We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with use of, or inability to use, our site; or use of or reliance on any content displayed on our site.
